Terms of Use — Local Share

Acceptance

By using Local Share you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Lawful use

You must use Local Share in compliance with applicable law. The app is for transferring files you have the right to send, between your devices or devices whose owners agreed to receive them.

• Do not use the app to distribute pirated software or other infringing content.
• Do not use it to spread malware, viruses, or files designed to cause harm.
• Do not use it to circumvent security systems or send unlawful material.

Responsibility for transferred files

Transfers happen directly between participating devices. Both parties (sender and recipient) are responsible for the legality, content, and rights in the files they choose to send or save. MEKUF does not host transferred files, does not review them, and is not responsible for what users choose to send or keep.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions may be offered, plus a one-time lifetime purchase where shown in the store.
• Payment, renewal, and cancellation are handled by your Google Play or Apple App Store account, at the store prices shown in the app.
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your store account settings.
• You can restore purchases from inside the app on a device signed into the same store account.

Apple terms on iOS

On iOS and macOS, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. If any term here conflicts with Apple’s store requirements, Apple’s requirements control for that term on Apple devices.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that transfers will succeed on every network or that received files are free of defects. You use the app at your own risk, including accepting files from other devices — especially if you enable auto-accept.
